Genesis 39:1-2
“When Joseph was taken to Egypt by the Ishmaelite traders, he was purchased by Potiphar, an Egyptian officer. Potiphar was captain of the guard for Pharaoh, the king of Egypt.
THE LORD WAS WITH JOSEPH, so he succeeded in everything he did as he served in the home of his Egyptian master.”
I was struck by a few words and sentences in these passages of scripture.
Joseph was PURCHASED
He was a slave
He was no longer free
And yet……..
THE LORD WAS WITH JOSEPH!
What??
He’s a slave, in the most awful of circumstances and yet the Lord was with him.
Wow, how many times in our own lives we have had circumstances that have felt like there’s NO way the Lord is with me!!
And yet, HE IS! 🔥
No matter what the situation or circumstance is, you MUST remind yourself that as true followers of JESUS CHRIST, the Lord is with you, He is with me!
Hallelujah! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Let this simple but powerful truth grab hold of your heart and captivate you with the goodness and faithfulness of our Father. Open the Word of God daily and let His Words remind you of His love and compassion towards you.
